Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 3 October 2026
These terms apply when you use maxinterface.com (“Maxinterface”) or buy a theme from us. Please read them before you buy. By creating an account or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. About us
Maxinterface is operated by Max Interface AB, org. no. 559492-7385, VAT no. SE559492738501, Barnängsgatan 1B, 116 50 Stockholm, Sweden. Contact: support@maxinterface.com.
2. The service
Maxinterface offers designed themes for LinkedIn banners and profile pictures. After you unlock a theme, you can enter your own details in our online generator and download the results as image files. The generator runs in your browser.
3. Your account
You sign in with a LinkedIn or Google account. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in provider secure. You must give accurate information and be at least 18 years old to make a purchase.
4. Prices and payment
- Each theme is sold for a one-time payment. There is no subscription and no recurring charge.
- Prices are shown in the checkout before you pay and include VAT where applicable.
- Payments are handled securely by Stripe. Your purchase is complete once Stripe confirms the payment, and you will receive a receipt by email.
- We may change prices for future purchases. Price changes never affect themes you have already bought.
5. Delivery and access
Your theme is added to your account immediately after payment. Whenever you sign in with the same account, you can open the theme again and download updated images.
- Access is personal to your account. Don’t share or resell it.
- Themes you buy stay on your account for as long as we offer the service.
- During the beta we may give free access to themes, either on your account or with a theme code. Free or promotional access may be time-limited, which we tell you when it is given.
- We may remove access that was shared, resold or obtained through fraud.
- If you delete your account, you lose access to the themes on it.
6. Right of withdrawal and refunds
As a consumer in the EU you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. For digital content, this right ends once delivery has started with your consent. At checkout you will be asked to expressly agree that delivery starts immediately and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once your theme is unlocked. For that reason, we don’t offer refunds after a theme has been unlocked.
This doesn’t affect your statutory rights. If a theme doesn’t work or isn’t as described, email support@maxinterface.com and we will fix the problem, give you a replacement or refund you, as required by Swedish and EU consumer law.
7. What you can do with your images
The themes, templates and designs on Maxinterface are owned by Max Interface AB. When you unlock a theme, you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the images you generate with it:
- You may use them on your own LinkedIn profile and other social or professional profiles, including pages for your own business, in both personal and professional contexts.
- You may not resell, share or redistribute the themes or templates themselves, offer them in a template pack or design service, or use them to create profiles for other people or clients.
The content you add, such as your name, photo and logo, stays yours. You confirm that you have the right to use any logos, photos or other material you add.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use Maxinterface for anything unlawful, misleading or infringing, or to impersonate someone else;
- try to get around theme codes or other access controls;
- copy, scrape or reverse-engineer the service or its designs;
- disrupt or overload the service.
We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
9. Availability and changes
We work to keep Maxinterface available and working, but we can’t promise it will be uninterrupted. We may improve or change the service. LinkedIn may also change how it displays banners and profile pictures, which can affect how your images look. If we ever shut the service down, we will give customers reasonable notice so they can download their images first.
10. Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business opportunities. Our total liability for a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your mandatory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to a purchase is the one in force when you made it. When we update them, we change the “Last updated” date above, notify customers by email about significant changes, and ask you to accept the new version the next time you use your account.
You don’t have to accept: you can sign out instead, and you can delete your account at any time. Changes never take away themes you have already bought.
12. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by Swedish law. If something goes wrong, please contact us first at support@maxinterface.com and we will try to resolve it. Consumers in Sweden can also take a dispute to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN) at arn.se. Disputes may otherwise be decided by a Swedish general court. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of your country.
